Welcome to National Law University, Nagpur (NLU, Nagpur). NLU, Nagpur is established by Maharashtra Government by way of enactment known as the Maharashtra National Law University Act (Maharashtra Act No. VI of 2014) and the University takes pride to be the Nineteenth National Law University in the country.
MNLU, Nagpur offers integrated undergraduate degree programme of B.A.LL.B (Hons.) with intake capacity of 120 students. Admissions for the 5 year integrated course are strictly based on merit list published as per CLAT process. The University also offer one-year postgraduate L.L.M. programme and Ph.D programme in its wide range of academic courses among other courses.
The University follows a unique pedagogical approach with interactive class lectures and seminars. Apart from transacting courses, the vibrant academic community of MNLU, Nagpur resourcefully conducts expanse of activities like defining academic policy, propounding novel dissertations and carrying out in-depth researches facilitating curriculum at the University. Enlightening guest lectures by visiting faculty are frequently held providing students broader perspective and insight to varied academic programmes.

The University, an institution with a student centric outlook, was established by Government of Maharashtra by an Act, the Maharashtra National Law University Act (Maharashtra Act No. VI of 2014).The University started its academic activities on August 1, 2016. We take pride to be the Nineteenth National Law University in order of establishment of NLUs in the country. It has been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs). We are making rapid progress towards the dream of achieving excellence in the field of legal education with its dedicated faculty members, research associates, research scholars, students and staff under the able guidance and supervision of Hon'ble Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, members of the statutory bodies, and well-wishers.
