Dr. Ragini P. Khubalkar

Associate Professor of Law

Dr. Ragini is having 13 Years, 4 months Teaching and Research Experience as permanent faculty and 10 years as contributory lecturer. She is Supervisor of 4 Ph.D. Scholars pursuing research in the arena of Intellectual Property Regime and 2 awarded Ph.D. in the month of April 2022 and 2023 and 1 submitted thesis for evaluation.

Before joining MNLU Nagpur, Dr. Ragini has worked as an Assistant Professor of Law at GWCL Nagpur, affiliated to RTMNU Nagpur, from 2010 to 2016. Since 12th November 2016, she has joined the prestigious Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur as Assistant Professor of Law.

While punctually attending various National and International Conferences and Seminars on IP topics, she has got to her credit several Paper Presentations. Dr. Ragini has also got to her credit, many honours and achievements, being the Organiser and Coordinator of National Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Webinars and Legal Aid programmes, on contemporary legal issues related to Gender law and IP laws. She has worked as member/Convenor of Co-ordination committee for WIPO-INDIA Summer School 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 and 2022 respectively. She has delivered number of lectures as a Resource Person and acted as Judge for various Conferences, Seminar, Debate and Moot competitions and Refresher and orientation program of UGC.

Her publications include Research Articles for various national journals and also contribution of chapters in books in the area of IP laws and gender justice issues, published by reputed publishers. At MNLU Nagpur she is Head of Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and DPIIT -IPR Chair Professor. She was Chairperson of Internal Complaint Committee (Gender Sensitisation) of the University, till 2023March. She is nodal officer of Pro-Bono cell of the university and faculty advisor of Legal Aid Cell and ADR Society. In 2022 Dr. Ragini is nominated as member in a committee constituted by the Ministry of commerce and Industry, Government of India for FTA negotiations. She is member of Global Alliance of Justice Education.
