Dr. Ragini P. Khubalkar

Associate Professor of Law

Dr. Ragini Prafulla Khubalkar is an Associate Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur since November 2016. She has immense interest in the study of finer aspects of the Intellectual Property Laws. She has done her Ph.D. on 'Protection of Copyright Law: National and International Perspectives'. After completing her LL.B., she did her LL.M. in Commercial Laws in addition to her simultaneous Post Graduation in Economics. She did her second in LL. M. Intellectual Property Laws in 2007 and cleared UGC-NET.

Before joining NLU Nagpur, Dr. Ragini has worked as an Assistant Professor of Law at GWCL Nagpur, affiliated to RTMNU Nagpur, from 2010 to 2016. She has attended various Conferences and Seminars and presented papers especially on the topic of IP laws. Dr. Ragini has also got to her credit, many honours and achievements, being the Organiser and Coordinator of National Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Webinars and Legal Aid programmes on contemporary legal issues related to Gender law and IP laws. She has worked as Convenor /member of Co-ordination committee for WIPO-INDIA Summer School 2017 to 2019. She has also delivered a number of lectures as a Resource Person and acted as Judge for various Conferences, Seminar, Debate and Moot competitions. She has published Research Articles in various national journals and also contributed chapters in books in the area of IP laws and gender justice issues published by reputed publishers. At MNLU Nagpur she is In-charge of Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and Chairperson of ICC of the University. She is also the Supervisor of 3 Ph.D. Scholars pursuing research in the arena of Intellectual Property Regime.
