Dr. Muktai Chavan Deb is an educator, mentor, counsellor and trainer with 15 plus years of experience for premier institutions like Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Institute of Management Technology and Research- Nagpur and Bennett University – Noida. Her passion for training has given her opportunities to design and conduct various training programs for executives, senior managers of prestigious organizations like Power Grid Corporation of India and Western Coal India and various government and private organizations.
As a student of psychology she was always inclined in understanding the learning styles of children and role of teachers in the teaching learning process. This led to the beginning of PRAYAS- Make Learning Fun! An online platform to educate, teachers, parents and students about learning disabilities and other issues related to development of the students. She tries to spread awareness about various learning disorders /disabilities through my blog and newspapers articles. This also motivated the researcher in her to write about INCLUSIVE EDUCATION – perception and readiness of teachers, parents and students. These papers have been published in UGC CARE listed journal and presented in international conference.
My interest in health care sector paved way for my PhD degree on the topic “A study of Competency Mapping with special reference to Health Care Professionals of Vidarbha Region.” Her doctoral dissertation paves the way for training the vast number of doctors, nurses and lab technicians as Nagpur is becoming a centre for health care services.
She has been a trainer for doctors AYUSH for more than 10 years at District Health Office, Nagpur and have been actively involved in motivating them towards their job.
Her training journey has taken me to 20 plus academic institutions and Government bodies like MSME and MCED (Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development) and 40 plus guest lectures for students. Interacting, training and consulting the budding entrepreneurs from various backgrounds have enriched my knowledge.
She also has been selected as a fellow in the Research Capacity Building Program 2021-22 under UGC-STRIDE Component-l (BatchIII), organized by the School of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. Indore from 15th July 2021.
Her key achievements are:
- Primary Evaluator for TOYCATHON 2021 organized by Ministry of Education’s INNOVATION CELL (Government of India)
- 3 Best Paper Awards
- Program Coordinator for Power Grid Corporation of India ( 3 years- 2019-2022)
- Program Coordinator for 12 days Online Advanced Diploma Career Oriented Course on “Personality development and Communication Skills” organized by Smt. Binzani City College, Nagpur from 3rd June 2021 to 12th June 2021
- Program Coordinator for Management Development program organized by MSME on “Human Resource Management”, 2010
At institutional level I am INCHARGE of Criteria 3 of NAAC and have been taking care of designing academic calendar, conductions exams and assisting in Training and Placement cell, designing employability training programs and counselling students. Her research publications are 08 Chapter in Books, 08 Peer reviewed Journals, 04 National Conference, 06 International Conference, 02 Books, and 04 Best Research paper awards.
