Prof. Sanya Agrawal is working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. She has completed her B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow and her LLM in Criminal and Security Law from Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule University, Jaipur. She has also pursued a Diploma in Cyber Law from Asian School of Cyber Law, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Presently, she is pursuing her PhD on Forensic Science from GD Goenka University, Gurugram.
Ms. Sanya has attended various national and international seminars and conferences and also published research papers in reputed journals. She has teaching experience of four years. Before joining the MNLU, she has worked as Assistant Professor of Law at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad and ILS Law College, Pune. She has taught few subjects like Civil Justice Administration, Legal Methods, Victimology and Restorative Justice, Professional Ethics, Family Law, Code of Criminal Procedure, Indian Penal Code, Law of Evidence, Environment Law, Code of Civil Procedure etc. She has also co-supervised two postgraduate students in their Socio-Legal Research and Dissertations. Her areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Law of Evidence.
