- Ms. PriyankaKhimani delivers Third Lecture in MNLU, Nagpur Expert Lecture Series on January 16, 2021
The DPIIT-IPR Chair at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur launched Expert Lecture Series on interface of Intellectual Property Rights with other Laws. The lecture series has been conceptualised to realise the objectives of the AtmaNirbhar Bharat initiative of the Government of India to spread the Intellectual Property Rights awareness. The Third Lecture of the Series was delivered by PriyankaKhimani, Partner, Anand and Anand and Khimani, Mumbai on IPR in Entertainment and Music Industry on January 16, 2021. She enlightened the participants with existing Intellectual Property rights and the intersection of different aspects related to Copyright and Trademarks Laws. She emphasized on looking for solutions beyond statute and the need towards protection of talent and creativity of a person in this globalised world. The expert lecture was conducted under the guidance of DPIIT-IPR Chair In-charge, Dr. Ragini P. Khubalkar and Research Assistants, Srijan Mishra and ShwetaKulkarni.
