  • MNLU, Nagpur organized Ten Days E-Training Course on Research Methodology from December 4-13, 2020

Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur organized the E-Training Course on Research Methodology from December 4, 2020 to December 13, 2020 for the Academicians and Research Scholars pursuing Ph.D. / M. Phil. Programme. The course was sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The aim of course was to help the scholars to enhance their intensive knowledge and understanding on various aspects of research methods.

The Training Programmestrived to highlight some emerging philosophical and methodological issues in socio-legal research. Dr. HimanshuPandey, Associate Professor of Law and Head, Centre for Corporate Law and Governance was the Course Director and Dr. Madhukar Sharma, Assistant Professor of Political Science was a Co-Course Director guided by Prof. (Dr.) Vijender Kumar, the Vice-Chancellor of MNLU Nagpur Dr. Pandey appraised that in view of the rapid spread of Corona Virus COVID-19, as a precautionary measure the University decided to organize the course through Online Mode via Cisco Webex.

Experts in the field of social science research were invited to deliver lectures on various aspects of research science. Topics like Fundamentals of Research, Socio-legal and Inter-Disciplinary Research, Features of SPSS, Ethics and Academic Integrity, Collecting Data through Digital Source, Research Writing, Jurimetrics and Artificial Intelligence Information retrieval techniques and access to online database etc.
