Prof. Mayur Garud has done his Post-Graduation in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune, with specialisation in Developmental Studies. Prior to it, he has done B.A (Economics) from Fergusson College, Pune. Prior to joining National Law University, Nagpur, he has worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Symbiosis Law School, Pune and ILS Law College, Pune. He also has work experience at Bharti Vidhyapeeth New Law College, Pune and Symbiosis Institute of Technology as a Visiting Faculty. He cleared NET (Economics) in January 2019. His academic interests include Developmental Studies of Economics, interdisciplinary study of Law and Economics and Economic Policies
