Dr. Aarti Anand Tayde

Assistant Professor of Law

 

Dr. Aarti Tayde holds an impressive educational background with a Bachelor's in Laws (LL.B.) and a Master's of Law LL.M (in Criminology), both from Amravati University. In addition to her legal qualifications, she also possesses a Master's degree in English Literature from the same University. The passion for knowledge led her to pursue a PhD in Child Victimization, a specialized field of study, from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her academic achievements include successfully clearing the UGC-NET exam and completing a Certificate course in Legislative Drafting.

With a wealth of experience spanning 15 years, has established herself in the field of academia. Prior to her career in academia, she gained practical experience as an Advocate, representing clients before Courts of Law. Her academic journey led her to several prestigious institutions, Notably, she joined Balaji Law College in Pune in 2007 as a full-time faculty member after initially serving as a visiting lecturer at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law in Nagpur (Dhikshabhumi). Including her role as an Assistant Professor at MITWPU School of Law and ILS Law College in Pune.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated her expertise in various legal subjects. She has delivered lectures on a wide range of topics, including Law of Crimes, Evidence, Code of Criminal Procedure, Administrative Law, Family Law, Contract Law, Interpretation of Statutes, Research Methodology, and Legal History. Her commitment to knowledge dissemination is also evident in her extensive publication record, which includes contributions to both National and International Journals on a variety of legal topics. Her dedication to legal education and her multifaceted expertise makes her a valuable asset to the field.
