  • NLU, Nagpur Inks MoU with TISS, Mumbai on Faculty Exchange and Research Programmes

Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur (MNLUN) and The Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai (TISS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Mumbai on Saturday, November 11, 2017 for the purpose of academic collaboration that will encompass exchange of students and members of faculty; jointly organizing of events, teaching, training and research, wherever feasible. This MoU also provides for offering full time regular as well as optional courses to the under-graduate, post-graduate and interdisciplinary Ph. D. Degree programme offered at these institutions on mutually agreeable terms and conditions. Faculty members from each of these institutions shall also be invited for important seminars, conferences and for teaching to under graduate, post graduate and research scholars. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr) Vijender Kumar Vice-Chancellor of MNLU, Nagpur and Prof. S. Parasuraman, Director, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TISS), Mumbai in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Tiwari, Dean, School of Law, Rights and Constitutional Governance, TISS, Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Oja, Head and Dean, Department of Law, Mumbai University, Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Guru, JNU, New Delhi, Prof. (Dr.). KS Nair and Prof.(Dr.) VP Sanjay, former Vice Chancellor of Central University Tamil Nadu and others.
